Plant Problems

  • Differentiate between plant stress disorders and biological diseases
  • Discuss the importance of proper plant care in an urban environment
  • Identify common weeds and recommend appropriate control methods
  • Recognize common insects and determine what controls are needed
  • Determine if a pathogen is present and if it is treatable
  • Identify plant nutrient deficiencies and how to treat accordingly 

What is the ACLP Certification Process?

 AZ Certified Landscape Professional (ACLP) is a designation given to those who complete all 10 of the ACLP classes and pass their corresponding exams with 80% or higher. Anyone take any of the classes at any time.

 

  • You have 2 weeks from the day of class to pass the exam.

  • Exam instructions will be sent via email.

  • If you do not pass or take the exam within the 2 week window, retakes can be purchased for $25.

  • If the exam is failed two times, students must retake the class.

  • Exams are 50 questions with 60 minutes to complete.

 

Recertification is mandatory every two years to maintain an active Certification. Recertify your ACLP by purchasing a Recertification Exam for $75. No shows can access the class recording and exam for an additional $20 charge (On Demand).
